Ada Mae has lived in her house in Seven Oaks for sixty-some-odd years. When the young man comes calling at her back door looking for a handout, Ada Mae is just preparing a monthly luncheon party she enjoys with her friends.  It doesn’t take her long to figure out the man’s identity and why he’s come a’callin’. She corners Death with some hard questions and she won’t let him squirm out of delivering up some answers. But they come to an agreement and share a few laughs before the visitor eventually presses on with the business that brought him to her back door on this particular day.
